IMPLICATIONS OF COVID-19 ON SCHOOL INFRASTRUCTURE

WHAT IS MEANT BY SCHOOL INFRASTRUCTURE?

The various facilities which are provided by the school like building buildings, playgrounds, libraries, laboratories, etc. It also includes facilities like plumbing, furnishing and providing equipment and information technology.

HOW TO MAINTAIN IT?

We should maintain it as the follows:

★ To have the accurate information about the status of facilities.

★ Maintain consistent status of building stocks and resources review.

★ Define priorities for issues and complaints.

★ Stick to a scheduled maintenance schedule.

★ Take immediate actions to repair the damage.

★ Give people who are close to the facilities concerned , the responsibility for the states of facilities.

IMPACTS OF COVID-19 ON SCHOOL:

COVID-19 has changed our total lifestyle. From face-to-face classes we have changed into online classes. Social inequality is increased by the COVID-19 crisis. Students from affluent parents have a better digital infrastructure. Some schools have digital technology and educational resource. But, some schools does not have that of technology. Because of this some students was not educated on lockdowns, which made them to sit back in the same classes. Teachers and students who are comfortable and secure in the school infrastructure feels lonely and insecure in online classes, even though they are connected virtually. Students don't get that comfortable and quiet zone to study in their home.

CONCLUSION: 

So, we can't avoid this situation , we must prevent it and undertake the ways to prevent it and make every children to attend the school. And again make the children to get that safe and sound environment.
